Basic license — single lab
If you're looking to use MediaLab and/or DirectRT on a fixed number of machines, a basic license may be more appropriate than a site license. Purchase a basic license for your lab, then pay a smaller fee for each additional computer. For example, with 9 computers (2 office, 2 control room, 5 lab), you'd purchase one basic license and 8 additional licenses. Add licenses any time, move them between machines as needed — home computers, laptops, and student machines qualify for the lower additional-license rate.

Small group site license — up to 25 machines
All the benefits of a regular site license, limited to 25 machines anywhere in your department. One researcher should be identified as licensee and primary support contact. Basic license holders with 10+ machines qualify for the upgrade rate; multiple basic license holders within a department can merge accounts for this purpose.

Departmental site license — unlimited department use
Unlimited use for everyone in your area, with convenient IP-based authorization: your department's IP patterns are coded directly into the software, so anyone on your network can simply download and use it. Multiple IP patterns and manual authorization codes can be accommodated. Holders of any site license, or a basic license with 20+ machines, qualify for the upgrade rate.

Campus-wide site license — entire university
Unlimited use for an entire university. When three or more departments want unlimited use, campus-wide is the most affordable option. Terms match the departmental site license, including IP-based authorization — everyone on your campus network can download and use the software any time. Universities holding two or more departmental site licenses for earlier versions qualify for the upgrade rate.

You can get started today. Email us at sales@empirisoft.com and tell us what you need. We'll confirm the details to make sure you're ordering exactly what you want and that the pricing is clear. Then, on your request, we'll send an invoice via email with a link to pay online via secure server. Using a purchase order? Let us know and we'll take care of it.
When you order software, we'll send download instructions so you can start using it the same day — we trust that you'll subsequently pay the invoice.
